Arthur C. Clarke
March 18, 2008
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
so said Arthur C. Clarke, who passed away today at age 90. he was one of my favorite authors, both of fiction and non-fiction.
one of the benefits of his advanced age and status as one of the world’s most prolific science visionaries is that he managed to live to see many of his predictions become reality.
ars technica has an excellent send-off.
