Good news: Nothing looks too bad or impossible to repair. The rechargeable batteries have leaked a bit, but nothing too bad. Plus they're designed for easy replacement.

Bad news: Powered it on, and there's no response. No smoke either, but no noises or lights. Hence, part 2…?
