as a new netflix subscriber, i finally have a reason to begrudgingly install microsoft silverlight.
so i discovered, to my amusement, that not only does microsoft not own silverlight.com, but that it is in fact owned – and was registered in 1996 – by someone with a mac.com email address. i hope he gets a big, fat check from microsoft at some point in the near future.
